Yesterday a farm that breeds guinny pigs for medical research announced that it was to close following serious intimidation by animal rights protesters. Amongst other things, the remains of one of the family’s relatives were stolen from a grave.
So the question is this, Most of us are animal lovers and wouldn’t wish harm on animals, however, most drugs are tested on animals, do you agree with it? And if not, would you refuse treatment on the basis that a particular drug had been tested on animals?
Well what else are we going to test drugs on, prisoners? I mean they have to be tested somehow and you aren't going to find that many willing hu,human subjects. So it's either animals or prisoners. although using prisoners does have an appeal factor.
'better test them, than us. I'll take 'em no matter who they've been tested on if they consider it safe.
Well, I don't think it's the fact they're tested on animals that bothers me, it's the way the animals are treated in the laboratories. We're abusing the animals by forcing them to have the tests, so the least we can do in my opinion, is treat them humanely during the process. I do actually refuse to feed my Guide dog certain pet foods, because of some of the things I read about the standard of care, or lack of care some dogs were getting. so now I only feed a quality food which is on a list of companies who put their name to a list who won't perform animal testing for their foods.
Paedophiles are as good a subject for experimentation..so why are we ignoring this pampered resource, make them suffer in the way that their victims have and continue to do.
Also the torturers choose to inflict this inhumane pain on defenceless animals, no animal in it's right mind, would choose to spend 5 seconds in a laboratory. There is now a breed of miniature pig, being bred by Huntington Life Sciences. For the sole purpose of testing a new treatment for epilepsy, as an epileptic, I'm appalled by this and will refuse the treatment if it is ever offered to me.
well I think there is a vast difference between for example, testing certain dog foods on other animals or even using certain animal products, the same as I don't think that cosmetics should be tested on animals. however, when it comes to medicine, I think that there is a difference. After all goblin, would you deny your child treatment of drugs that had been tested? if the answer to that question is yes, then you are an irresponsible parent, and do not deserve to have children.

Why should my education be of any concern of yours? I'm concerned as to why it should take up any of your thoughts when you can't even remember the name or age of your son. I guess alcoholism is a hard cross to bare, but there are those here if you'd just ask, who I'm sure would be glad to put you on the road of the 12 step plan.
I agree that criminals who have committed major crimes should be experimented with because it may deter future such criminals and also humans are what will provide the most accurate results. As for animal rights, they shouldn't have any. This fantacy belief that animals and humans are equal and should be treated so is just rubbish! Animals are not equal to us, for example, they can't treat themselves if they're ill humans do it instead. Really, as the superior beings in this world, we should decide what rights any other species has because we're the only animals capable of imposing our authority on the rest. The other animals should just be used for our benefit. Some are killed on farms to provide food, some provide clothing. Some make good pets for kids, and others, well they make their contribution to improoving medical knowledge. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just humans making good use of resources. What's all this about how we treat these things? Why are people so bothered? We should be able to treat them how we want to! They're just animals! Next people will be wanting these things to have their own countries. It's just silly! As for these activists, well it's about time they were treated as terrorists and just got rid of. In fact, since they've got such a problem with animal experimentation, we should send them to the laboritory, then we use less animals, and get those people out of society so they don't cause any further problems.
Aminals kill to survive we are the only creatures who kill for supremacy over another race,, greed stupidity insecurity religious intolerance ect..therefore the animal population are more highly evolved than us...not to mention their superb adapations to the rigours of their enviroments..I'm sure they are wetting themselves laughing at us inadequate humans.
